THE RUPEE SUNK TO A FRESH LIFETIME LOW VERSUS THE US DOLLAR ON THURSDAY,DUE TO WORSENING PROSPECTS FOR THE LOCAL ECONOMY. THE RUPEE IS DOWN ~17% AGAINST THE DOLLAR SO FAR IN 2011 AND HAS LOST MORE THAN 20% SINCE THE START OF AUGUST.

STOCK MARKET TODAY: 15TH DECEMBER 2011
Tomorrow trading is expected between the broad levels of 4645-4815. If the market breaches the level of 4815 on the upper side then the next resistance level will be 4875. But if nifty breaches the support level of 4705 then it may go down till the level of 4645. Nifty tomorrow is strongly expected to trade between the narrow ranges of 4705-4815.

Based on the running trading scenario bank nifty future is expected to trade between the broad levels of 8350-8825. Bank nifty futures can go down till the level of 8350 once it breaks the level of 8455. On the opposite side once breaking the level of 8720, it is expected to go upward till the level of 8825. Bank nifty will be trading between the narrow ranges of 8455-8720.

SENSEX shut its shop at 15,867, down 135 points. And THE NIFTY lost 0.8% to end at 4,763 made a day’s low of 4,750 before closing.
CNX Midcap index was down -0.69% and S&P CNX 500 lost around -0.81%. BSE small cap index LOST around -0.81% and BSE Midcap LOST around -0.95%.

RUPEE FELL SEVENTH DAY IN SUCCESSION
The rupee fell to a new record low versus the US dollar on Wednesday, as investors dumped the Indian. The currency dropped 1.5% on Monday and 0.7% on Tuesday. It is down ~16-17% against the dollar so far in 2011 and has lost more than 20% since the start of August. The rupee was trading at 53.70 per dollar after being as low as 53.76. It opened at day's high of 53.

The rupee slid to a new record low versus the US dollar on Tuesday, as investors dump the Indian currency amid worsening prospects for the local economy.
The rupee was at 53.2250 per dollar after being as low as 52.30. It had opened at a day's high of 52.60 versus Monday's close of 52.84.
