STOCK MARKET TODAY: 28th FEBRUARY 2012


NIFTY SPOT LEVEL: 28TH FEBRUARY 2012

Tomorrow trading is expected between the broad levels of 5175-5395. If the market breaches the level of 5345 on the upper side then the next resistance level will be 5395. But if nifty breaches the support level of 5230 then it may go down till the level of 5175.

Based on the running trading scenario bank nifty future is expected to trade between the broad levels of 9965-10395. Bank nifty futures can go down till the level of 9965 once it breaks the level of 10075. On the opposite side once breaking the level of 10285, it is expected to go upward till the level of 10395. Bank nifty will be trading between the narrow ranges of 10075-10285.

The SENSEX closed 477 points lower at 17445 and the NIFTY stood at 5281, down by 148 points.

BSE Small-Cap index was down -3.26% while the BSE Mid-Cap index finished -3.02% down .CNX MIDCAP 50 index was down -3.12% and S&P CNX 500 was down around -2.79%.

CIPLA changed 1.40% with 14,23,298 volumes

ITC changed 0.93% with 1,16,07,685 volumes

Today’s nifty top losers were:
SESAGOA with volume 1,54,40,778 and changed -9.95%.
SAIL with volume 45,91,541 and changed -7.08%.
HEROMOTO with volume 6,35,308 and changed -6.58%.
